Safety PAL’s NEW Accident Investigation Tool
How can an ‘Accident Investigating Tool’ help me?
An effective investigation requires a methodical, structured approach to information gathering, collation, and analysis. The findings of the investigation will form the basis of an action plan to prevent the accident or incident from happening again and for improving your overall management of risk.
Safety PAL’s accident investigation tool will help you complete all the accident details and collate the worker, activity, and company information.
How to:
Once logged onto Safet PAL and signed in, go to your dashboard.
To view your current and past accident investigations, click ‘View Accident Investigations’
From there this page will open, you can view your company’s accident statistics from here.
To report an accident use the box on the far right-hand side of the dashboard. Use the drop-down box to select where the accident happened in your workplace.
Once you have chosen from the drop-down box, a page like this will open.
From here you can do spot checks as well as conduct an accident investigation.
To conduct an accident investigation click this button.
After that, you will be asked various questions through sections 1 to 6 and required to make selections based on the incident or accident. All information entered will be used to complete ‘Accident Investigation Report’ form.
